Paper I- Genral Ability and Intelligence
✔ सामान्य मानसिक योग्यता- यह प्रश्न तार्किक विवेचना, गणितीय अभिरुचि सहित संख्यात्मक योग्यता एवं आंकड़ों के निर्वाचन के परीक्षण हेतु तैयार किए जाएंगे।
Genral Ability and Intelligence- The objective type questions with multiple choices in this paper will broadly cover the following areas.
General Mental Ability- The questions will be designed to test the logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude including, numerical ability and data interpretation.
✔ सामान्य विज्ञान- यह प्रश्न सामान्य जागरूकता, वैज्ञानिक प्रकृति, नए क्षेत्रों जैसे - सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, जैव-प्रौद्योगिकी एवं पर्यावरणीय विज्ञान आदि जैसे नए महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों सहित वैश्विक घटनाओं के दैनिक प्रेक्षण की समझ (परिज्ञान) एवं मूल्यांकन के परीक्षण हेतु तैयार किए जाएंगे।
General Science- The question will be set to test general awareness, scientific temper, comprehension and appreciation of scientific phenomena of everyday observation including new areas of importance like Information Technology Biotechnology, Environmental Science.
✔ राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्व की समसामयिकी घटनाएं- संस्कृति, संगीत, कला, साहित्य, खेल, शासन, सामाजिक तथा विकासात्मक मुद्दों, उद्योग, व्यवसाय, भूमंडलीकरण तथा राष्ट्रों के बीच पारस्परिक संबंध जैसे व्यापक क्षेत्रों में राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्व के समसामयिकी घटनाओं से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों की जागरूकता का परीक्षण।
Current Events of National and International Importance- The question will set the candidates Awareness of current events of national and international importance in the broad area of culture, music, area, literature, sports, governance, society and developmental issues, industry, business, globalisation and interplay among Nations.
✔ भारतीय राजव्यवस्था एवं अर्थव्यवस्था- इन प्रश्नों के उम्मीदवारों से देश की राजनीतिक व्यवस्था तथा भारत के संविधान, सामाजिक व्यवस्था और लोक प्रशासन, भारत में आर्थिक विकास, क्षेत्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के मुद्दों एवं मानवाधिकार सहित इसके सूचकों के ज्ञान का परीक्षण किया जाएगा।
Indian Polity and Economy- The questions shall aim to test candidates' knowledge of the Country's political system and the Constitution of India, social systems and public administration, economic development in India, regional and International Security issue and Human Rights including its indicators.
✔ भारत का इतिहास- यह प्रश्न व्यापक रूप से सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनीतिक पहलुओं के विषय से संबंधित होंगे। इनमें राष्ट्रवाद की प्रगति तथा स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के क्षेत्र में भी शामिल होंगे।
History of India- The questions will broadly cover the subject in its social, economic and political aspects. This shall also include the area of growth of nationalism and freedom movement.
✔ भारत एवं विश्व भूगोल- यह प्रश्न भारत तथा विश्व से संबंधित भूगोल के भौतिक, सामाजिक तथा आर्थिक पहलुओं से संबंधित होंगे।
Indian and World Geography- The questions shall cover the physical, social and economic aspects of geography pertaining to India and the World.
Paper II- Essay, Precis Writing & Comprehension
✔ भाग- क निबंध प्रकार के प्रश्न, जिसके उत्तर लंबे वर्णनात्मक रूप में हिंदी अंग्रेजी में दिए जाने हैं, जो कि कुल 80 अंक के होंगे। निदेशात्मक विषय है - आधुनिक भारतीय इतिहास विशेषतया स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, भूगोल, राज्यव्यवस्था और अर्थव्यवस्था, सुरक्षा तथा मानवाधिकार मुद्दों की जानकारी तथा विश्लेषणात्मक योग्यता।
Part- A. Essay questions which are to be answered in long narrative for either in Hindi or English totalling 80 marks. The indicative topics are modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, Geography, polity and economic, knowledge of security and Human Rights issues and analytical abilities.
✔ भाग- ख अपठित गद्यांश, सारांश लेखन, अन्य संचार/ भाषा कौशल जिनके उत्तर केवल अंग्रेजी में दिए जाने हैं, जो कि 120 अंकों के होंगे। निर्देशात्मक विषय है - अपठित गद्यांश, सारांश लेखन, प्रति- तर्क विकास, सामान व्याकरण तथा भाषा परीक्षण के अन्य पक्ष।
Part- B. Comprehension, precis writing, other communication/ language skills - to be attempted in English only (marks 120). The topics are Comprehension passages precis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammer and other aspects of language testing.
